ABOUT US
The team at Britology prides itself on providing high-quality, political, planning, and communications consultancy advice and services.
Our office is based in Yorkshire but our work takes us around the UK.
Jonathan Scott
Jonathan holds both an Honours degree and a Masters degree in Politics and has been involved in local government and national politics for over thirty years.
He manages the political interface, public consultation, media, and planning work for our clients and works extensively with senior officers in local authorities, senior civil servants, and politicians of all parties at all levels.
Jonathan is also involved in the land introduction and affordable housing side of the business.
Elizabeth Hill-Scott
Elizabeth has worked in the press and communications industry for over fifteen years and leads community consultation and public engagement.
She has extensive experience in the public and government sectors working in public affairs at New Scotland Yard for the Metropolitan Police Service, as an adviser in change communications at the Department for Work and Pensions, and as Deputy Head of Engagement and Internal Communications at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
Elizabeth also holds both a BA and a Masters degree in politics and international relations.
We provide a range of services to assist our clients. these include preparing communication and consultation advice, commercial and residential political and planning advice.

Political AND PUBLIC RELATIONS
On behalf of our clients, we carry out lobbying, public relations, external communications and both direct and indirect political interface work with Local Councillors, Members of Parliament and Members of the European Parliament.
We have over thirty years of experience of local and national government in the United Kingdom and help our clients to communicate and deliver their message locally, regionally, and nationally on a full range of issues and policies important to them.
We carry out public consultations on planning applications providing advice and assistance to the public and private sectors on community engagement.
Property and planning facilitation
We operate a property, planning and agency consultancy.
We work with developers and broker agreements between landowners, housebuilders, housing associations and local authorities to deliver high-quality affordable homes.
We introduce land acquisitions and facilitate affordable housing agreements providing a full political planning assessment service for our clients.

Britology Digital Media
Britology is the home of Britpolitics an exciting, educational internet platform focused on delivering a range of content and services for anyone studying or enthusiastic about history and politics. Britology also runs Smart History Blogging giving smart tips and courses to history bloggers who want to save time, grow their traffic, make money and write about what they love. Britology will also be launching a new digital business that will include film and video making.
History and Military Battlefield Tours
Britology is developing a new business aimed at bringing history alive for small groups of enthusiasts, corporate bodies, school field-trip parties and veterans.
We will be planning overseas trips to sites of general historic interest and the battlefields of Europe, the United States, Asia and Africa.
